Hempel has supplied its advanced Hempaprime 530 coating system to Haizea Wind Group for the protection of 50 XXL monopiles manufactured in Bilbao, Spain. This high-performance coating ensures exceptional resistance to marine corrosion and long-lasting durability under extreme offshore conditions.

Developed by Iberdrola through ScottishPower, East Anglia 3 will deliver 1,400 MW of clean energy — enough to power more than 1.3 million British homes. The project highlights the role of strong industrial partnerships and Spain’s leadership in the renewable energy sector.
